Essex Woman Vanishes Without Trace in West Croydon
Owami Davies, 24, from Grays, Essex, disappeared nearly three weeks ago. She left her family home on Monday, 4 July, and was last spotted just after midnight on Thursday, 7 July, in Derby Road, West Croydon.
Police Urge Public to Help Find Vulnerable Young Woman
Detectives are growing increasingly worried about Owami’s welfare. Officers want anyone who saw her on Wednesday, 6 July, or in the early hours of the following day to come forward immediately.
“Owami’s family hasn’t heard from her in over three weeks, and she hasn’t shown up to work,” said Detective Constable Marie Spear of South London’s Missing Persons Unit. “She was vulnerable when last seen, and we desperately need the public’s help to trace her movements that night.”
Residents Told to Check Sheds and Outbuildings
DC Spear added: “We’re asking West Croydon locals to have a good look in sheds and outbuildings and report anything suspicious. Any little detail could be crucial.”
