Double death horror in Ilford as police swoop after early morning disturbance
Two men found dead after dawn drama
Officers rushed to Tavistock Gardens, Ilford, at 4.24am on Sunday, 10 January following reports of a disturbance. They discovered two men seriously injured. Despite frantic efforts by police and London Ambulance Service paramedics, both men died at the scene.
Woman arrested with minor injuries after Taser used
A 28-year-old woman was also found with non-life-threatening injuries. Police used a Taser to detain her on site. She was arrested and taken to hospital for treatment.
Homicide squad steps in as investigation ramps up
The Met’s Specialist Crime Command homicide detectives have been notified. A crime scene has been established, and enquiries are ongoing. Next of kin have yet to be informed.
