Sexual Predator Found Guilty of Child Abuse in Shocking Court Case
Damian Kinston, 27, from Spring Close, was found guilty at Swindon Crown Court on Thursday (12/09) of multiple horrific offences. These include sexual assault, numerous counts of rape of a child under 13, and assaults involving penetration. The victim was a young girl aged between seven and 12 during the abuse.
Years of Abuse Exposed
The disturbing crimes took place over six years from 2015 to 2021, with Kinston repeatedly abusing the vulnerable child. Despite overwhelming evidence, he refused to plead guilty during the trial.
Police Praise Victim’s Courage
Police Sergeant Vaughan said: “Firstly, I want to praise the victim for the courage that they have shown throughout this investigation, particularly given her young age.
Kinston is clearly a sexual predator, whose only interest was his own gratification. He showed no regard for the victim and wouldn’t admit guilt despite the evidence.
He forced his victim to relive her trauma in court, which could not have been easy.
Thankfully, because of the bravery of the victim and the evidence gathered, the jury saw through his lies. He is now being held to account.”
Sentencing Scheduled for November
Kinston is due to be sentenced on November 18. Authorities urge anyone affected by sexual abuse to come forward. Victims can call 999 or report via the police website.
