Ten Years Behind Bars for Ruthless Burglar Targeting Vulnerable Victims
Christopher Scott Bryan’s Crime Spree Ends in Jail
Christopher Scott Bryan, 45, has been handed a hefty 10-year prison sentence after a string of crime sprees in Southampton and Portsmouth. The no fixed abode man pleaded guilty at Southampton Crown Court to multiple offences, including burglary, robbery, and fraud, all committed between January and April 2020.
Burglaries Hit Vulnerable Victims
The court revealed Bryan targeted two extremely vulnerable individuals during two residential burglaries. His cold-hearted attacks on these victims significantly influenced the tough sentence passed down by the judge.
Criminal Charges and Police Response
- Four counts of burglary
- Three counts of fraud
- One count of theft
- One count of attempted robbery
Detective Sergeant Simon Price praised law enforcement’s efforts and the harsh sentence. He said, “An offender who acted in a cowardly manner by targeting vulnerable victims has been punished with a substantial custodial sentence.”
He added, “This sentence not only protects the victims but also reassures local communities that they can feel safer going about their day-to-day lives.”
