Met Police Officer Charged with Stalking Ex-Partner

A serving Metropolitan Police officer has been hit with stalking charges over incidents involving his former partner. Detective Constable Timothy Fory, from the Directorate of Professional Standards, faces court this March.
Stalking Allegations Span Several Months
The alleged harassment took place between June and September 2024. DC Fory is accused of stalking his ex-girlfriend while off duty. He was arrested on 20 September and immediately suspended from his role.
Met Police Responds
“We can confirm that Detective Constable Timothy Fory has been charged with stalking in relation to off-duty conduct. He remains suspended from duty. The matter has been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) in line with standard procedure.”
The case has sent shockwaves through the force given Fory’s role in the very unit that oversees police integrity and misconduct.
What Happens Next?
- Fory is set to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 12 March.
