Man Charged with Murder Over Fatal Ilford Stabbing

Police have charged Jean Marc Dable, 24, with the murder of Akeem Dylon Barnes, 24, following a deadly stabbing in Ilford. Dable, who has no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday, 30 November.

He is set to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 2 December.

Deadly Fight Erupts in Telegraph Mews

Officers were first called to Telegraph Mews, Seven Kings, at 6:10am on Sunday, 24 November after reports of a group fight. Although no one was found injured at the scene, a short time later police were alerted to Ilford Lane where Akeem Barnes was discovered with knife wounds.

Emergency crews gave first aid before rushing Barnes to an east London hospital. Tragically, he died at 12:36pm.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Evidence

A post-mortem confirmed Barnes died from stab wounds. Detectives are urging anyone with information, videos, or photos to come forward.
