Man Badly Hurt in Late-Night Pub Brawl in Leigh-on-Sea
Essex Police are hunting for witnesses after a man was seriously assaulted outside the Oakleigh pub on London Road, Leigh-on-Sea.
Victim Suffers Serious Head Injuries
The attack happened at around 1am on Sunday, May 12. Paramedics rushed the injured man to hospital where he is receiving treatment for head injuries sustained during the assault.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Officers believe several people saw the incident or what happened before and after. They are pleading for anyone who was near the pub at the time to share any information, including dashcam footage.
“We will not tolerate violent behaviour in our communities,” said Superintendent Shaun Kane. “Our investigation is well underway and we need the public’s help to piece together what happened.”
