Police are hunting witnesses after a nasty crash involving a motorbike on the Isle of Wight this evening.
Single-Vehicle Crash on Firestone Copse Road
The smash happened at 5pm today (January 9) on Firestone Copse Road, Wootton. A 43-year-old man on a blue motorbike crashed and suffered life-threatening injuries. He is now in a critical condition at southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton General Hospital. His family have been informed.
Investigations Underway, Police Seek Witnesses
Officers are piecing together what caused the collision. They want anyone who saw the blue bike earlier or has dash cam footage to get in touch. The road has since reopened after being closed.
