North London Murder Probe: Fifth Man Arrested as Investigation Intensifies
New Arrest Shakes Case
On Friday, 5 March, a 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody at a north London police station. This marks the fifth arrest linked to the brutal killing.
Other Suspects Still on Bail
- A 17-year-old male arrested on Tuesday, 9 February
- A 19-year-old man arrested on Wednesday, 10 February
- A 20-year-old man arrested on Sunday, 14 February
- A 19-year-old man arrested on Monday, 15 February
All are held on suspicion of murder and are due back on bail throughout late March.
Victim Recovering as Police Appeal for Info
A 16-year-old boy who was found with stab wounds during the incident is now recovering.
Police urge anyone with information to call 101 or tweet 123. Calls and submissions remain 100% anonymous — no names or IP addresses are traced.
Younger witnesses can pass info confidentially via Fearless.org, part of the Crimestoppers charity, independent of police.
Detective Demands Public Help
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Wrigley, Specialist Crime North, said: “We have made good progress with five arrests but need to find more suspects. If you were in the Willesden Lane area on 6 February and saw or heard anything, please get in touch. Any detail, no matter how small, could be crucial. Mobile phone or dashcam footage is especially valuable.”
