Late-Night Suspicious Activity Sparks Police Probe
Between 2am and 3am on 24 August 2021, CCTV and Ring Doorbell cameras picked up an individual acting strangely around parked cars and garages. No crimes have been confirmed, but the behaviour has raised alarm bells.
Police Hunting for Clues
Officers are now hunting down all available footage of the suspect. Once gathered, they’ll review it carefully to try and identify the person involved.
Boosted Security and Safety Tips for Residents
Expect more police patrols around the estate, especially overnight. Residents are urged to double-check home security and take these simple steps to keep thieves at bay:
- Always lock your vehicle and remove valuables before leaving it unattended.
- Use your garage where possible to store vehicles out of sight.
- Consider a Faraday pouch to block your car keys’ signal and stop thieves from hacking keyless entry.
- If a Faraday pouch isn’t an option, stash keys away from the car—inside a microwave or metal box works wonders.
