Suspicious Car Stop Leads to Bust
Police have swooped on a silver Toyota Prius acting oddly near the Crown Estate in Oxshott. The vehicle was stopped in Egham yesterday afternoon as part of an ongoing investigation into a series of high-value burglaries.
Burglary Gear Found in Vehicle
Officers searched the car and uncovered a backpack filled with burglary essentials: a torch, baseball caps, face coverings, gloves, two crowbars, and a large can of pepper spray.
Three Men Arrested on Serious Charges
The suspects, aged 37, 32 and 17, from Manchester and London, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to burgle and possession of a Section 5 firearm. They remain in custody as police continue their investigation.
