Two Arrested After Daylight Stabbing Shuts Down Peckham Road
Peckham was rocked by a broad daylight stabbing on Friday afternoon. Just after 1pm on December 2nd, police were called to the junction of Peckham High Street and Rye Lane following reports of a stabbing.
Road Closed as Victim Rushed to Hospital
Both directions of the busy road were shut down as officers and the London Ambulance Service attended the scene. A 19-year-old man was rushed to hospital with stab wounds. Thankfully, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Two Men Held in Custody
Police launched an immediate investigation and have arrested two men in connection with the attack. Both suspects remain in custody as inquiries continue.
This shocking incident has left the Peckham community shaken during the busy afternoon rush.
