Tragic Death Outside Central London Hotel

Police have confirmed a woman has died after falling from a height near King’s Cross station.

Incident Near Standard Hotel Sparks Investigation

The Met Police were called just after 5am on Tuesday to Euston Road, outside the Standard Hotel. A crime scene was swiftly established, and part of the road was shut down to traffic.

Road Closures Hit London Commuters

Several road closures remain in place as officers continue their investigations. The area around Euston Road remains cordoned off.

Met Police Statement

“Police were called to Euston Road, WC1H, at 5.26am on Tuesday, 8 December, following reports that a woman had suffered injuries consistent with a fall from height. Officers attended alongside London Ambulance Service. A woman was pronounced dead at the scene. A road closure is in place on Euston Road while enquiries continue.”
