A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 14:14 hrs on Monday, 29 July to Foots Cray Meadows, Sidcup, after a member of the public reported finding bones in a river bank area. The bones were sent for specialist examination and were confirmed not to be human.”
