Crash chaos in Westminster as police car collides with taxi during emergency call
Crash on Horseferry Road Injures Two
A police car rushing to an emergency smashed into a taxi this morning on bustling Horseferry Road, central London. The accident happened at around 10:22am.
The taxi driver, a 50-year-old man, and a police officer were both hurt but thankfully suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening and non-life-changing. They received treatment on the scene from the London Ambulance Service.
Fire Brigade Responds Amid Oil Leak
The London Fire Brigade rushed to the scene as a precaution after an oil leak from one of the vehicles threatened to make matters worse. Emergency crews quickly sealed off the area.
Road closures caused traffic snarls across the area as services worked to clear the wreckage and ensure public safety.
