Man Rescued from Burning Home in Hornsey as Fire Probe Underway

Four fire engines and 25 firefighters rushed to tackle a blaze on Beresford Road, Hornsey, yesterday afternoon. A man was heroically rescued through a ground floor window and rushed to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.

Blaze Hits Ground Floor

The fire, which broke out at 4.24pm, caused damage to part of the ground floor. Fire crews from Hornsey, Holloway, and Tottenham stations battled the flames until they had the situation firmly under control by 5.23pm.

Cause of Fire Still a Mystery
