Emergency Services Have Called Mulberry Academy Shoreditch After Suspected “acid Attack”
Emergency services were called at around 1pm on Friday to  Mulberry Academy after an ‘acid attack’. Witnesses claim a corrosive substance was thrown over a person following an ‘altercation’. A Detection, Identification and Monitoring unit from the London Fire Brigade has also been mobilised to the incident along with members of the LAS “Hart” Team and officers from the Met Police.   It is not yet known the full nature of this incident.   Both the Met Police and the London Ambulance Service have been approached for comment. A spokesman for the Me Police said: Police were called shortly before 12:50pm on Friday, 02 December to Gosset Street, E2 following reports of a woman throwing liquid at people. A third party reported a liquid had been thrown at a 17-year-old girl. No injuries were reported and the girl did not require medical attention. The liquid is not believed to be a corrosive substance. Officers attended the location along with London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade as a precaution. No other injuries were reported. Enquiries continue and police are conducting reassurance patrols in the area.’
