Slough Man Stabbed to Death in Broad Daylight in Front of Several People

 

A murder investigation has been launched after a man was fatally stabbed in broad daylight in Slough. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon (September 11) in Rochfords Gardens, where emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 3:20 PM following reports of the stabbing.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was found critically injured and tragically died at the scene despite the efforts of paramedics. Witnesses reported the attack happened in front of several people, adding to the shock and horror of the incident.

Thames Valley Police arrested a man, also in his 20s, shortly after the attack in connection with the fatal stabbing. He remains in police custody as the investigation continues.

Detective Inspector Nick Hind of Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit described the incident as a “violent attack in a public place in daylight,” and thanked those who have already come forward with information. DI Hind urged anyone with photos or videos of the attack not to share them on social media, but to provide them to the police as part of the ongoing investigation.

Police have reassured the Slough community that this is believed to be an isolated incident, but a large police presence will remain in the area while enquiries are carried out. Officers are encouraging the public to approach them with any questions or concerns.
