Drug Dealer Jailed After Knife and Crack Cocaine Bust in Ramsgate

Undercover Cop Catches Turner Red-Handed

Corbin Turner, 21, was snapped selling drugs near Albion Hill on 26 February 2020 by a plain clothes officer in Ramsgate. The officer spotted Turner making a shady exchange with a crowd before swooping in.

Knife, Crack and Cash Found on Turner

When stopped, Turner had a three-inch knife tucked inside his sock. A search uncovered over 50 wraps of crack cocaine, £50 in cash, and his mobile phone.

Phone analysis linked Turner to the notorious ‘Leon’ county line, a well-known drug operation.

Turner Jailed for Two and a Half Years

At Thanet Magistrates’ Court, Turner admitted to possession with intent to supply class A drugs, carrying a bladed article, and possessing criminal property. He was sentenced to two and a half years in jail on 11 May.

Police Warn: Drug Dealing Means Jail Time

Detective Constable Pete Frampton of Kent Police’s County Lines Team said: “The message from this case is clear; get involved in drug dealing and a prison term awaits you. The knife found on Turner illustrates the violence or threat of violence which so often goes hand in hand with drug dealing, and the sentence imposed reflects the seriousness of carrying such a weapon.”
