Fugitive Grandpa Convicted of Sending Threatening Letters to MPs

Donald Wood, 84, was found guilty in his absence of sending threatening letters to MPs Dan Jarvis, John Healey, and Stephanie Peacock. The verdict came following a trial at Sheffield Crown Court.

The pensioner failed to show for his trial and is believed to have escaped to Morocco. A warrant for his arrest was issued on 21 February as police scramble to track him down.
