Knife attack in Denton leaves three hurt but no life-threatening injuries
Just after 9.30am today, Greater Manchester Police rushed to Yew Tree Road, Denton, following reports of a stabbing.
Woman and two others injured in shocking attack
Emergency services arrived swiftly. A woman was taken to hospital with injuries that are serious but not life-threatening. Two more people, believed to be involved in the incident, also turned up at hospital with serious wounds, though their condition is stable.
Police confident this is an isolated incident
Officers say this stabbing appears to be a one-off, posing no broader threat to locals. Still, extra cops will patrol the area to reassure the community and keep tensions low.

“A scene will continue to be in place whilst we conduct further searches and enquiries. If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to one of our officers, they are here to help,” said Detective Sergeant Pete Goddard of GMP’s Tameside district.
“GMP are taking a robust approach to knife crime in the Greater Manchester area, and this is no exception.”
