Animal Rebellion Storms Morrisons in Brighton with Shocking Protest
A band of eco-warriors from Animal Rebellion, a spin-off of Extinction Rebellion, crashed a Morrisons store on St James’ Street, Kemptown, Brighton. Their weapon? Satirical newspaper headlines mocking Easter traditions.
One headline screamed: “Nation of animal lovers eat baby sheep in odd annual Easter ritual”. The stunt aimed to expose the cruel irony of celebrating new life while feasting on animals.
Protests Sweep UK as Campaigners Demand Change
Animal Rebellion didn’t stop there. Coordinated protests hit London, Southampton, and Newcastle, all part of a nationwide push to spotlight animal cruelty, sustainability, and environmental harm caused by meat farming.
Disruption at the Grand National Next on the Horizon
The group has vowed to escalate tactics after this week. Plans are in place to disrupt the Grand National, targeting what they call “ethical and environmental injustices” linked to animal agriculture.
“We want to raise awareness about the devastating environmental impact and animal suffering behind meat production,” Animal Rebellion stated. “Our goal is to promote a sustainable, cruelty-free lifestyle.”
