Fire Breaks Out in Brompton Cellar: Residents Forced Out

Kent Fire and Rescue rushed to a blaze just after 5pm on Friday in a cellar on High Street, Brompton, Gillingham. Four fire engines roared to the scene, ready to fight the flames.

Firefighters Battle Blazing Cellar

Wearing breathing apparatus, crews attacked the fire with powerful main jets, working swiftly to control the situation. The blaze caused enough damage to force residents from two flats to evacuate immediately.

Support for Evacuated Residents

The Kent Fire and Rescue Service Rapid Response Team teamed up with the British Red Cross to assist those displaced by the fire. The affected residents will not be able to return to their homes today due to the damage.
