Five Men Hurt in Early Morning South London Shooting and Stabbing
Just after 3:30am on Saturday, June 18, five men in their twenties turned up at two south London hospitals battered with gunshot and knife wounds.
The injuries came from a violent disturbance near Wandsworth Road, where a shotgun was fired during the chaos.
One victim, a 20-year-old man, remains in critical condition.
Trident Detectives Lead Murder Probe
The investigation is in the hands of Trident detectives from the Specialist Crime Command, working closely with Central South Command Unit officers.
“The investigation is still in its early stages,” said Detective Sergeant Matt Doohan. “This incident happened when most people were asleep, but we urgently need help from the community.”
“We want to bring those who recklessly use guns and knives on London’s streets to justice and stop further innocent victims.”
