Two people have been rushed to hospital following a stabbing on Kilburn High Road, prompting a major police response and multiple crime scenes in the area.
Emergency Response and Road Closure
The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service were called to the scene at 5:46 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2025, following reports of a knife attack near the North London Tavern.
Paramedics treated two victims at the scene before transporting them to a major trauma centre for further medical care. Their current condition remains unknown.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed:
“We were called at 5.46 p.m. on Sunday, 5 January, to reports of a stabbing on Kilburn High Road, NW6. We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, an advanced paramedic, and an incident response officer. We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London’s Air Ambulance. We treated two patients at the scene and took them to major trauma centres.”
Multiple Crime Scenes in Kilburn
Police have shut off Kilburn High Road in both directions, and a second crime scene is in place near The Old Bell pub, approximately 0.7 miles away.
Authorities have not confirmed if the two incidents are connected, but investigations are ongoing.
