Concerns from Friends and Family
Becky’s best friend, Kerry Malby, expressed her worries, stating, “We have no idea if she left of her own accord or if she’s been taken.” She emphasised that Becky is a devoted mother and that her disappearance is entirely out of character.
Malby continued, “People can’t just vanish into thin air. I can’t understand why she wouldn’t call me. The kids were not left on their own; they returned to find Becky not here. We just want her home and safe; her girls need her. Every morning waking up and there’s no news, it’s awful.”
Physical Description and Investigation Updates
Becky is described as 5ft 4in tall, with shoulder-length brown hair and a tattoo on her ankle. It remains unclear what she was wearing when she left her home. Sussex Police have noted that she has links to the Burgess Hill, Horsham, Worthingworthing, Devon, and Dorset areas.
Detective Inspector Chris May stated, “We are growing increasingly concerned for Rebecca’s welfare and urge anyone who has seen or heard from her since Sunday morning to get in touch. Extensive enquiries are being conducted, including physical searches, house-to-house visits, and checks of CCTV and doorbell cameras in the area. Residents will see an increased police presence while this is ongoing.”
Anyone with information regarding Rebecca’s whereabouts is urged to call 999.
