Sussex Police are seeking witnesses following a deliberate fire that caused significant damage to Hailsham Town Football Club's recreation ground in Western Road.
On Tuesday evening (12 November), conifers near the stand were set alight around 7 pm, resulting in extensive damage estimated at £35,000. The %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%%, believed to be an act of arson, caused considerable destruction but, fortunately, no injuries were reported.
