A person has tragically died following a medical emergency at Green Park Underground Station in central London, authorities have confirmed.
The incident occurred just before 4:30 PM on Thursday, February 6, 2025, prompting an emergency response from British Transport Police (BTP) and the %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%% (LAS).
Emergency Response
- %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_1%% officers and paramedics rushed to the scene after receiving reports of a person falling unwell inside the station.
- Despite their efforts, the individual was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Official Statements
A spokesperson for British Transport %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_2%% said:
"Officers were called to %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_3%% Underground station just before 4.30pm yesterday (6 February) following reports of a medical emergency.
"Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
A London Ambulance Service (LAS) spokesperson also provided details of their %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_4%%:
"We were called at 4:22 PM on Thursday (6 %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_5%%) to reports of a person unwell at Green Park Underground Station.
"We sent resources to the scene, including an %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_6%% crew, a paramedic in a fast-response car, and an incident response officer."
No Suspicious Circumstances
Authorities have confirmed that the incident is not being treated as suspicious. A coroner's report will be prepared in due course.
Travel Disruption
There was temporary disruption at %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_7%% Park station while emergency services responded, but normal service resumed shortly after.
