Man Who Died on London Underground Station Tracks Named

Police have named a man who died on the tracks at england/edgware/”>Edgware Tube station in london/”>%%UKNIP_ANCHOR_0%% London as 42-year-old Rizwan Ahmeed. The announcement comes as authorities appeal for help in locating his family.

were called to Edgware station during the morning rush on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Upon arrival, officers and paramedics found Mr Ahmeed, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

His %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_2%% is being treated as unexpected but not suspicious, and a file has been prepared for the coroner.

Appeal for Family

Police are seeking assistance in finding Mr Ahmeed's %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_3%% or next of kin. Originally from Pakistan, he had been living in the UK and was known to have resided in both %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_4%% and %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_5%%, %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_6%%.

At the time of his death, Mr Ahmeed had short black hair and a beard, and was wearing a black waterproof hooded %%UKNIP_ANCHOR_7%%coat and black jogging bottoms.
