Armed Robbery At Southampton Chemist

Officers are continuing their searches in the West End area following a robbery this morning (September 12). The incident was reported to us at 8.53am. A man entered Lloyds Pharmacy on Wessex Road, West End and demanded staff handover medication. The staff handed over a quantity of medication and the man left the scene. It was reported that the man showed staff a weapon, which appeared to look like a gun. No one was injured. Officers are continuing their search and anyone with information should call Hampshire Constabulary on 101 quoting 44180344829.
