A lady in her 30s was stabbed to death in broad daylight in South London this afternoon, causing police to close several roads.

Just after 4 p.m. on Monday (May 1), police responded to reports of a stabbing on Stockwell Park Walk in Brixton and discovered the woman with stab wounds to her neck. Unfortunately, she was pronounced deceased at the scene. After a helicopter landed in nearby Slade Gardens, paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance were also on the scene.

A graphic video of the aftermath of a stabbing that occurred in the pedestrianised area between SW9 Community Housing and The Junction SW9 was uploaded to social media but has since been removed following the woman’s death, the area has been taped off as a crime scene, and a blue tent has been erected.
