In a disturbing incident on the evening of Wednesday, 20 December, emergency services were called to the scene of a violent altercation on Hoe Street in Walthamstow. The police were alerted at 19:25hrs following reports of a fight in the area.
Upon arrival, officers from the Metropolitan Police, accompanied by paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, found a man who had sustained a head injury. Initial reports suggested that the victim had not been stabbed but rather assaulted with a pole, leading to the injury.
The man was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. His condition is currently being assessed, and further details regarding his state are awaited.
