Current Parking Arrangements
Currently, both surface and multi-storey parking are free on Sundays. However, the new charge will only apply to the surface level car park/”>park, which has 616 spaces, including 50 designated for disabled parking. The introduction of the £1 Sunday Parking Charge at The Brewery is a notable change.
Comparison of Parking Charges
parking rates at the surface level are already significantly higher than those in the multi-storey car park, with Saturday charges being at least £1.25 Moremore. Implementing the £1 Sunday Parking Charge at The Brewery aims to optimise surface parking use.
Notice to Shoppers
A notice has been displayed at the entrance of the surface car park, informing shoppers of the impending change. It states: “From September 21 £1 surface level parking on Sundays. FREE multi-storey parking on Sundays.” This emphasises the commencement of the £1 Sunday Parking Charge at The Brewery.
