Two Men Arrested After Stabbing on Plymouth Road in Redditch

Police have arrested two men on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in Redditch this evening. This comes as two men were arrested after a stabbing incident that has shocked the local community.

The incident took place at around 5.45pm on Plymouth Road, where officers responded to reports of a man in his thirties suffering stab wounds. The two men arrested after stabbing the victim are now in police custody as investigations continue.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not currently believed to be life-threatening.

Two men, aged 22 and 35, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remain in custody while enquiries continue. The community is in shock after two men were arrested after stabbing the victim.

Police Appeal

Detective Sergeant Poonam Parmar, who is leading the investigation, said officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the stabbing or has relevant information.
