A devastating fire has broken out at Little Halstead Hounds, a popular secure dog exercise facility located on Yelsted Lane, Boxley. The facility, known for offering enclosed fields with large stock fences for dogs to run safely and freely, was engulfed by flames early Sunday morning.

Firefighters who first arrived on the scene quickly realized the severity of the blaze and requested additional support, including more fire engines and specialist equipment. An aerial ladder was deployed to access higher sections of the structure and contain the fire spreading into the roof. Due to low water pressure in the area, a bulk water carrier was also brought in to ensure a continuous supply for firefighting efforts.

Residents nearby are advised to keep their windows and doors closed due to the smoke in the vicinity. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire, and further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

The owners of Little Halstead Hounds have yet to release a statement regarding the incident.
