Still no arrests more than two weeks after woman ‘raped’ in Canary Wharf

Incident Overview

The Metropolitan Police received reports of an incident on Hertsmere Road at approximately 4.30am on August 23. Officers, along with the London Ambulance Service, responded to the scene, where they found a woman in her 20s. www.uknip.co.uk/where/united-kingdom/england/canary-wharf

The woman was taken to hospital and is being supported by specially trained officers.

Ongoing Investigation

As of now, there have been no arrests related to the alleged rape. A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated, “No update yet – enquiries continue.”
