Three teenagers have been arrested following a high-speed police Chasechase involving a stolen car in england/england/birmingham/”>birmingham/”>Birmingham, West Midlands Police confirmed.
Stolen Car Spotted Near Perry Barr
Police were alerted to a stolen vehicle near perry-Barrbarr/”>perry-Barrbarr/”>Perry Barr just before 9pm on Saturday. The stolen car eventually stopped on Thornbury Road, where the suspects made a dash on foot.
Imitation Gun Recovered, Suspects Caught
Officers quickly detained three suspects in the nearby area. An imitation firearm was seized from the scene, adding to the charges.
Four Charges and Ongoing Custody
- A 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man face suspicion of motor vehicle theft.
- Another 18-year-old man is held for motor vehicle theft and possession of the imitation firearm.
