Metropolitan Police officers were called to Chandos Place in WC2 at approximately 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 22nd, following reports of two men attempting to break into a property. The incident occurred near Charing Cross police station.

Upon receiving the call, police swiftly responded to the scene. As a result of their intervention, three men were apprehended on suspicion of burglary, along with an additional charge of possession of class A drugs.

During the operation, emergency medical services were also called to the location, as one of the detained individuals reported feeling unwell. The London Ambulance Service (LAS) provided treatment to the individual, and he was subsequently transported to a medical facility.

London Fire Brigade (LFB) units were initially requested to assist LAS with an extraction, but ultimately, their services were not required, and they were stood down.

The arrested men have been taken into custody, where they will remain while the investigation continues.
