The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) has announced a series of urgent recalls affecting popular products sold in some of the UK’s biggest supermarkets and retailers.
Shoppers are being urged to stop using the affected products immediately and return them for a full refund due to risks ranging from serious infection to fire hazards and strangulation risks.
Tesco Recall – Facial Cleansing Wipes
Tesco has recalled multiple batches of its Kind & Pure Facial Cleansing Wipes after microbiological testing detected Pluralibacter gergoviae, a bacterium that can pose health risks.

A major recall has been issued for six Tower Air Fryer models sold at Tesco, Lidl, Argos, B&M, Poundland, Robert Dyas, DID, and Tower’s website.
The OPSS confirmed the products present a risk of overheating and fire.
