Police issue warning after seizing vehicle for no insurance

The driver thought that maybe the Island was behind the times and travelled over over on the Red funnel to East Cowes thinking he’d made a clear get away Police have issued a warning to motorists on and those visiting the Isle of Wight stressing the importance of having a roadworthy vehicle after a the van was seized. The Volkswagen transport was seized by police before boarding the ferry as the motorist had No Insurance. The officer involved in the seizure said “I cannot stress enough the importance of having a roadworthy/road legal vehicle when using the roads.”
