According to a statement from Thames Valley Police, officers responded to a report from a member of the public around 5.15pm on Sunday. Upon arriving at the scene, they found Trickett and immediately began emergency treatment. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the park.

The investigation into Trickett’s death is ongoing, and authorities are treating it as unexplained. Formal identification has confirmed the deceased man’s identity as Matthew Trickett, a resident of Maidenhead. His family has been notified and receives support from law enforcement during this difficult time. The police have requested that their privacy be respected.
