Emergency services were called to the Chase Leisure Centre on Stafford Road, Cannock, this afternoon following reports of a gas leak.
The incident, reported at 2:36pm, prompted a swift response from fire crews.
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the nature of the emergency as a suspected gas leak, though there are currently no reports of injuries.
