A man has sadly died following a house fire on Humes Avenue in Hanwell, West London.
The London Fire Brigade (LFB) confirmed that part of the ground floor of a terraced house was damaged by fire.
One man managed to leave the building before the Brigade arrived and was transported to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.
Tragically, another man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Brigade was called to the incident at 5:32am on Saturday, 4 May 2025, and the fire was under control by 5:53am.
Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters from Ealing and Southall fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the London Fire Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
Authorities have urged residents to ensure they have working smoke alarms and to follow fire safety advice at home.
