Police have launched a major investigation after two motorcyclists were tragically killed during a catastrophic crash at a British Superbikes event at Oulton Park.
Owen Jenner, 21, and Shane Richardson, 29, lost their lives following a devastating first-lap collision that saw eleven riders involved in a terrifying chain reaction at Turn One – Old Hall Corner.

The shocking incident, captured live on television, saw one rider lose control exiting the corner, sliding across the tarmac and into the path of oncoming competitors. Several bikes collided, with one even catching fire as frantic medics rushed to the scene.
Despite immediate intervention by emergency services, both Jenner and Richardson tragically succumbed to their injuries.
