Warwickshire Police are urgently appealing for witnesses after a serious collision involving two vehicles near Tamworth left two people fighting for their lives.
The crash occurred at approximately 6.45pm yesterday on the canal bridge on Bodymoor Heath Road, close to the junction with Dog Lane.
Details of the Incident
- A white Audi A3 carrying five occupants collided with a blue Audi Q6.
- A man and woman, both in their 20s, were taken to hospital with critical injuries.
- Three other passengers from the Audi A3 were treated for injuries described as non-life-threatening.
- The occupants of the Audi Q6 suffered minor injuries.
