Police followed Darryl Scott as he travelled to Bootle to collect the drugs – and hide them in a specially-made compartment

He was stopped near the Tyne Tunnel where we found 9 packages of white powder.

The 32yo claimed he was collecting cannabis but his lies were laid bare when specialists cracked open his encrypted device and found scores of messages discussing the cocaine.
