South Yorkshire Police have released CCTV pictures of a man they want to question over a shocking rape in Sheffield.
Incident Details
On 10 February 2025, a woman reported being raped in a hotel room on St Mary’s Gate. The attack happened in the early hours of 9 February. The victim did not know the man involved.
Man Description & Appeal
Officers describe the suspect as an Asian man, around six feet tall, stocky build, with short black hair and a beard.
“We believe this man may have crucial information to assist our investigation,” said a police spokesperson.
Public Help Needed
Extensive phone checks, forensic work, and CCTV reviews have so far failed to identify him. Police are now asking the public to come forward if they recognise the man.
