Emergency services rushed to the scene of a serious kitchen fire at Constable Mews, Bromley late this morning.
The London Fire Brigade (LFB) was called at around 11:54 am following reports of a blaze in a residential kitchen. Six fire engines and multiple fire crews were immediately dispatched to tackle the incident.
Emergency Response
In addition to fire crews, the London Ambulance Service (LAS) was urgently requested to attend the scene to assist with any potential casualties.
Firefighters quickly entered the building to extinguish the flames and conduct a thorough search for any residents. The current status regarding injuries or rescues has not yet been confirmed.
A London Fire Brigade spokesperson stated:
“Six pumps were mobilized to a kitchen fire at a property on Constable Mews, Bromley. Crews carried out extensive searches and firefighting operations. The cause of the fire will be subject to a full investigation.”

Widmore Road experienced some temporary disruption as emergency vehicles operated in the area. Residents are advised to avoid the location if possible while the scene is made safe.
