Kent Police are hunting a key witness after a deadly smash on the A2990 Thanet Way near Whitstable.
Man in His 50s Dies at Scene
The tragedy struck at 8.35pm on Thursday 16 October 2025. A silver Renault panel van heading towards Whitstable collided head-on with a blue Skoda Octavia travelling the opposite way. The Skoda driver, a man in his 50s, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed.
The van driver was rushed to a local hospital and remains in stable condition.
Police Seek Witnesses with Vital Info
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are probing the crash. They believe a driver of a car or small van, travelling towards Whitstable near the time, may hold crucial information and want to speak to them urgently.
