Police have seized six dogs and arrested a man after a shocking dog attack left a woman injured at a residential address in Rush Green Road, Romford.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 9:17am on Sunday, 4 May, following reports that a 21-year-old woman had been attacked inside a home.
Woman Rushed to Hospital
Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and found the woman with injuries to her arm. She was swiftly taken to hospital for treatment. Thankfully, her injuries are not believed to be life-changing.
Six Dogs Seized, Man Arrested
In a major operation, six dogs were seized from the property. A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being in control of a dangerous dog.
He has since been released from custody but will be interviewed at a later date as part of ongoing enquiries.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed:
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
Residents living nearby expressed shock, with many calling for tighter enforcement around dog ownership laws.
